Does Stablehost provide free SSL certificates?

I found this discussion going back to September last year https://forums.stablehost.com/index.php?threads/https-or-http.944/#post-2996 where a staff member mentions it but does not go into any detail.

I did look at the Control Panel link which shows certificates for all my domains, however most of them have expired and I have no idea how to update them.

    So, my questions:
    • Are the SSL certificates free, or just on trial basis?
    • How do I update them?
    • Is there a Knowledgebase resource for learning this, and about SSL security in general (for newbies like me)?
    • Any other useful advice?
    • I only have general Wordpress websites but browsers are now warning users about insecure connections and my main aim is to fix this
    Thanks

You can set them up in a snap in cPanel. They are free and auto-update.

So... say you've just switched 25 plus websites over to Stable Host.

Would you login to your Stable Host account cPanel and... so what specifically?

No idea about the mentioned host. But I do know about Scopehosts providing SSL certificates to protect our websites.

Yessir... with Stablehost, getting your websites under SSL is pretty easy

They had to teach me how but they were willing to do so, and they were right... it' easy to do and takes just a few moments.
